The benchmark page located right here (http://www.ocsetiteam.com/benchmark.htm) was getting a little behind because 13oots2 was getting involved with real life stuff. So im gonna help him out a little and do this for a little while. So get back to that page and give me some benchmarks:D. The more that we have the better, it will help compare systems and see what kind of system is running some of the faster WUs. Crunch on!

I know I let this slip due to work pressures, it would be nice to see this work for the Team. With all those nice new machines everyone seems to be getting, there could be some good data and info to be obtained.
It can easily be shown how much better an XP is over a standard Athlon. Also how do the new Durons compare against an Athlon, also how much better DDR is than SDR. This could supply all the data you need to find a fast Seti cruncher, all that is needed is a result from each Member. It doesn't matter what your machine is, just send those results in. Somebody has to knock TC off the top of this one;)
Please support this venture, just one WU for each machine. Think of all the information it can supply to anyone OCing. Until the benchmark page is updated with a new E-mail address, I will forward any results to drdingo. Lets see if we can make this page better than TLC's (Team Lamb Chop). Thanks for listening

hehe i'd send in another one but i am in a race right now.... but when the race is over how about i give ya the result of my xp 1600@1.7ghz or better yet if i can get my hands on some pc2700 then i can give ya a bench at 1.8ghz..... btw i was wondering if u check the results to make sure they are correct and not messed up due to high overclocks??

Thats another plus of the Benchmark, there is a completed WU that is known to be error free. All WU's returned are compared against the baseline to check for any problems, a good way of having your PC checked out for free.
I can actually get my PC running with a much higher FSB and lower multiplier. It even passes Prime95 with no problems at all, though it gives very different results in the Bench file.
Get your PC's checked out for Seti stability, completely free:cool:

Come on people - there has to be somebody out there who can challenge my best time! I want to see tweaking and fine tuning until our team is a well clocked machine :)

It would be helpful (for me, at least) if the FTP had this to download from. :)
Can't seem to get lynx to recognize the homepage, and there isn't anything on the ftp other than a few Linux files.

Cool, I wil run some on mine when I'm home to check them out (actually make sure I'm not losing WU due to a finished WU, and sitting idle).
Will run one on each machine sometime this week, and send em over.
hey tc i think my latest one that will be added when he updates it will come to say the least very close to yours... unless u also turned in another one at a higher clock

yep i got it. im running a little behind because the tables i was given are differnt so i need to combine them. i will have it done today or tomarrow

I'm still working on (re)building my systems. I managed to mod
an old Compaq Pentium 150 Server case to accept a Dual Slot 1
server board, I just need to track down a matched set of
processors...
Plus I have 3 other machine I'm building, and two I've got to
tweak out some.
Hopefully by the end of this week, or at worst, next week I
can give you benchmarks on each one.
I sent a couple about a week or so ago, my user name is Turner. Was just wondering if you recieved them. I will try and do 5-6 this weekend for you on my other 3 systems.

Can you elaborate as to what the problem with the tables is. I may be able to help, as far as I am aware they should match up????. I have been looking for you on ICQ, but no joy
nevermind, there was some already done but it did agianand just added them together.
hmmm i finished a benchmark at 166x10.5 but shortly after that i found out it was unstable so should i still send in that benchmark or not?

abosultly! just go ahead and send it to me and if its corrupt ill e-mail and let you know.
btw if it isnt corupt then could u please put in my comments that the system is not stable that high....... hmm i think its time i get myself some better ram so i can run that high lol it finished the benchmark work unit in 3.048hrs:burn:

*edit* it finished the WU in 3.04, which beat TC's best of 3.09. congrats...
kewl :) well at least i am giveing him some compatition hehe but i dont think i will be there long because all it would take is for tc to decide to run the bench on one of his overclocked northwoods i think :rolleyes:
EDIT: btw when is the next time ur gonna update the benchmark page? weekly like the other stats?
He sends me the stats as needed and I update the page as soon as possible. I have the new file right now BUT I have an interview tomorrow so I may not get to it till saturday.
i wasn't sure if the first one went through. thats why you got 2:D
