Hey guys, having a problem with my router. The router is a belkin N1 vision. Been using it for months now without any problems then all of the sudden today it says no internet, so i go and try unplugging both the router and modem, wait then plug them back in modem first, router second, still no internet. So i disconnect the modem cable from the router and connect it directly to the computer and there's the internet, try connecting back to the router no internet:bang head. Problem is my computer is upstairs and the router and modem are downstairs, and i'm wireless.
I tried going thru the different menus the router has with no luck, i can still access the other computers on the network with it just not the internet. So i'm wondering what the problem might be and how to fix it possibly. I have MAC filtering on and i tried turning it off , didn't help. I checked the security log and it said the firewall blocked some mac st 293.255.255.25 and did it almost 11 times a second every 30 seconds:confused:. Don't have another router to use at the moment or the money to buy even a cheap one. All help is appreciated.
