Ahh, give em 1.65 I'll bet they will tighten up, but true, not the fastest stuff on the planet.

The guy at Mushkin said that about my set too. I couldn't run 1600 Cas 7 If I pumped as much voltage as my board allowed through these chips. :fight:

Were they Mushkins? Those sticks usually over-perform

Yeah. The current set I have in my sig. 1600 @ 8-8-8-24 is what they're rated for and I had a bad set of 1600 7-7-7-20, but that set was discontinued (for obvious reasons) and they only has Cas 8 sets in stock. :bang head

Edit: Yupp. Just tested, 1600mhz Cas 7 won't even boot at 2.1v. Nearly 30% over volted and they won't drop one clock. Not even on 2T! Memory is the only thing that puts this board into the never ending failed POST loop. :facepalm:
