How many PC's are connected to the internet around the world, compared to the amount of total PC's and how many total people in the world.

Just wondering if CD's DVD's and Blue-Ray will dissiper because of cloud computing.

I'm having trouble finding all the statistics.

That's probably because there's not solid number. We can guess around, but i don't think anyone really knows for sure how many computers are on the internet. Some aren't always connected, some don't ever connect to the internet themselves, and just go through a NAT. You might be able to find the number of ROUTERS, but for places like my school that has 300 computers behind one modem, that wouldn't help you much :/

So far I heard on Twit it's 1 billion is connected to the internet, just looking for more statistics, thanks for the help, keep looking.;)

There's information is out there you just have to dig for it, Google and Microsoft and Apple keep statistics on checking internet usage, and updates, also from different IP's and authentication serial numbers of the OS over the internet.
