I got a the XP 1600 and a Gigabyte GA-7VTXE MB, and my comp freezes whenever I play games with a 150 FSB. I don't think it is heat, since the temps are at a steady 45 C at full load and 25 C at idle. I think that the PCI frequency is too high and my Video card is running out of specs. Does anyone know how I can check my PCI frequency or at what frequency FSB the PCI divider changes?

couldn't tell you for sure. seems something on your pci bus is limited to a lower fsb. i know in my comp i am only comfortable with fsb 149 or lower. freezing up in 3d apps is sometime a ram problem. try using less agresive memory timings and see if that helps your problem. what type of ram are you using?
