Hi all, I have just put my new system together and I am trying to achieve just a tiny OC, but since I am totally new to i5-core system terminology I have a small question regarding the offset option for the vcore in the bios.
Here goes: When I set the vcore offset to +0.025 I would expect to get an increase of my vcore of around 0.025v. So stock voltage is 1.1440v which should then give 1.169v. However, when applying this setting the voltage reads 1.1120v which is 0.32v lower then stock..... So what should I expect to achieve when setting an offset value of +0.025?
My specs are:
Asus P7P55D-E Pro
i5 760 (2.8 @ 3.05: 160blck x19)
OCZ DDR3 1600Mhz 7-7-7-24 2x2gb
Corsair F120 SSD
Geforce 8800GTS
Thanks in advance
