(Newegg) Incompatible ac adapter

I bought a replacement ac adapter for my daughters Eee PC 1005hab netbook. It's a FSP Group (Fortron Source) NET 36 12V 36Watt ASUS Eee PC Netbook Adapter. On both Newegg's site and FSP Group websites it says it's compatible with it. Well, it turns out it's NOT compatible. I want to get a replacement but not sure what to do. I don't feel like I should have to pay a restocking fee for it since on Newegg's and the manufactures site it says it's compatible. Any suggestions on what I should do? Newegg rep, you around?
