AMD for 12 years...

It's time I built an Intel system don't you think?

I have NO CLUE what's good and what's not in terms of motherboards for the i7 series.

I know I'm going for the i7980X EE (Black Edition?)

Whats the best board? I've eyeballed the EVGA FTW3 , I'll be running 2x GTX4 480s

But it looks like the Rampage III is nice as well.

What's top notch? Whats just a step below and whats Wal-mart version of a rollback motherboard?

If money is not a problem EVGA E760 CLASSIFIED.
Instead of the Rampage III i would get the Evga 170 it's 4 way sli so you could have 3 GTX 480's and a physics card.

I think the Asus Rampage III Extreme is the only board with USB 3.0 and Sata 6GB?

Naw, there's plenty to pick from. My build from earlier this month has USB 3.0 and SATA 6/Gbps. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621
