anybody here take CISCO and receive their CCNA yet? We're starting class registration and its offered as a course at a local career and technology center. I would have to leave school for an hour and half to take the course.

Is it worth it? THe experience, hands on, etc..

If you complete it and pass your CCNA tests, you will make a 6-figure salary. Be prepaired to do nothing but eat, sleep, live, and breathe IP addresses etc.

I have my CCNA and am 1/4th of my way through my CCNP. Don't believe you'll get a 6 figure salary for a CCNA. You won't even get a 6 figure salary with a CCNP, you should with a CCIE, but there's about 9,000 of them worldwide. The job market sucks for IT now, it will improve, but companies are cleaning house and outsourcing a lot of IT/IS ops to NOC centers.

UNless you were talking pesos, then I believe you will make 6 figures.;)
