wireless newbie

I have a netbook with wireless capabilities built in so I bought an Asus wireless router and set it up and connected to the internet. When I shut down and then tried to get back on I got "you cannot login unless logout another user first". I cannot get back on the net unless I hook up wired so how do I logout another user first:confused: please help

well is your wireless password encrypted? did someone get in and take control of the wireless?

That sounds much more like the remote management feature of the router. I would reset the router, disable that feature, then change the AP name and password.

DOnt reset your router. Just try to power cycle your router. This could be the ip address of your local area connection is loged in and the wifi ip is not logged in.

What do you mean you "cannot go on?" cannot go online or cannot login to the router?
