Looking to upgrade intel cpu

Hey all, I am looking at this auction on ebay. I know nothing about Intel cpu's. Will this work with an Intel 440 bx mobo that has a PII 350 mhz 100 mhz FSB slot 1 cpu in it? Item description: Intel Pentium III 450MHz CPU (100MHz BUS). This CPU features the 450-MHz Katmai processor with 512-KB L2 cache. Included with the P3 450 MHz CPU are the processor, brand new heat sink, new fan, and slot 1 processor case. TIA,

If the mobo supports a 4.5 multiplier, then it will MOST LIKELY work. It would in my 440bx board (would support ALL P2's and the Katmai P3's), an old Asus P2B-B. But I can't guarantee that it will work in all boards. You should probably check with the manufacturer for a more definite word.

if it doesnt a bios update will most likeley add the support for it :)
