I'm trying to set up Microsoft Outlook 2003 on my laptop but seem to have run into a problem.

Whenever I open up Microsoft Outlook it brings up a prompt which asks for a Network password. It's filled in so I check "Save this password in your password list" and click "OK" which brings up the Send/Receive box. Under the Task tab the task named "Sending" shows up as complete, however the task named "Receiving" says "Errors" in the "Progress" column.

When I click on the "Errors" tab it displays the following error message:

Task "Name - Receiving" reported error (0x800CCC92): 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accoungs. The server responded: -ERR authorization failed'

I am unable to send or receive anything. When I click send the "Network Password" prompt shows up, I click OK and it shows an error.

Task "Name - Sending" reported error (0x800CCC0F): 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP).'

Also, when I try to send an email to this new email account it comes back as undeliverable.

Here's what I did when I set up Outlook:

1) Clicked on E-Mail Accounts under Tools dropdown
2) Clicked on Add a new e-mail account
3) Filled in fields as follows:

User Information

Your Name: (Put in my name)
E-Mail Address: Example@outlook.com

Server Information

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): Pop.secureserver.net
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Smtpout.secureserver.net

Logon Information

User Name: Example
Password: Password

4) Clicked on More Settings...

Selected Outgoing Server Tab

Selected "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
Selected "Use Same settings as my incoming mail server"

Selected Advanced Tab

Incoming Server (POP3): 110
Outgoing Server (SMTP): 80

Any help in getting this resolved would be amazingly appreciated.
Thank you!!

That's what I used to configure everything. Still, though, same errors.

Hmmm...have you been able to access your email on a different computer? Perhaps online? I'm trying to validate if you're account is setup/available/etc.

Can someone please assist me with this?
Sorry bud, was (well, am) on business travel. Didn't mean to ignore ya! :p
