What is the email message to update profile for?

I have received this email about 10 times from IMOG, and I go in and update my profile...but what exactly is it for?:-/

Messages seem to continue even after updating.

...but you shouldn't be receiving it continuously. It should only have happened once, maybe twice AFAIK. IMOG?

Thanks for the link, I never connected "Authors pages" thread with this. So I must not be updating my profile correctly...

There's no correctly really. It's up to you how you update it. You shouldn't be receiving more than two. If they continue to come, please let us know.
