when i play some 3D games it will play fine for a long time then it will just hang there doing nothing for around 15 seconds. the computer does not lockup just kinda lags then goes back to normal. anyone know the reason for this and possibly how to fix it?
The first thing to try is reducing your overclock, especially the FSB. Try taking it down to 140 or so to se if that helps.
That happens to me @ 172 FSB. I'm guessing the clock is too high as well.

i set it down to 133fsb and it still hangs anyother sugestions?

Are you oc'ing the video card at all?
