Well here it is, first one. I pretty much threw this together with parts and peices i had laying around, only thing i bought was the pump and a few hose barbs, and hose. I put the res and heater core in a box i made outside of the case cause it was quick and easy to do, I plan on doing a water system inside the case in the futrue. The water block and holddown plate i made, its just a regular crossdrilled block. With a room temp of 72F the cpu temp stays around 102-104F (folding), water temp of 82F , I used 10% antifreeze for corrosion cause the rad is alum.

Great setup. What kind of block did you use? Do you transport you comp at any time? If you do, HOW DO YOU DO IT?!

thanks guys, to answer questions: I made the block myself, its 1/2" thick copper 2"x1.75", with 3/8" in/out. I don't really move the computer, but if i had to i'd just unhook the hoses, it would be good time to change out the water anyway.

wow that watercooling setup totally sucks!

LOL JK! That is a really nice setup. Probably one of the best external resevior systems i've seen. i like the placement of the in/out tubes also. how long did it take and how much money?

awesome job!

wow, thats nice. u still get 104 degrees on it? i was reading
and saw rigs with 0 degrees. very impressive and you made
pretty much all of it by yourself!

i worked on it for like 2 weeks, but i really only had about 10 hours of actual work, i can't stay focused on one project for very long, lol. total cash i paid out was about $30, $18 of that was for the pump. It could probably do some lower temps with a different block and 1/2" hose, but its good enough for now

very nice setup. and done mightly inexpensive on the wallet. wish i could save money!
anyhow starfox asked about your temps. 104f=38c i think thats a great temp for just air on the rad and no chiller.plus you made the water block so its that makes it even better with those temps.i bought mine was $50 or so and i only get 2-3c lower so rock on and build more!
