How can I make my own thermal compound?

Why?
It would probably be much more expensive and much lower quality than some AS3. If you have to make something yourself, why not mod/make something visible?
BTW, I have no clue how you'd do this.

Hmm, take a slab of silver and grind it down to dust, then mix in it with some kind of motor oil. There you go! Instant AS3!:D

I dont really know how to make that stuff. Maybe you can contact someone in the thermal compound developing business and ask them the basics. A good place to start is by asking Nevin of Arctic Silver, but he'll prolly try to get you to buy some Arctic Silver, similar to what Im trying to tell you do.......Go buy some and save your time and money, as well as blood sweat and tears.;)
