Compatability question

I was wondering if DDR2 533 Memory would work in a GA-EP43-UD3L Motherboard with an E6750 CPU with the right memory multiplier/divider or if the memory would have to be upgraded? Thanks in advance.

your going to need at least DDR2-667 ram for that cpu. the fsb for the cpu is 1333, so 1333/4=333.33mhz, with 333.33mhz*2=667. if your cpu was a 1066/4=266.66mhz cpu then that ram would work for DDR2-533 (266.66*2=533).
