Hmmm i need some help again:)
I have some intresting stuff forming on my pipes that feed into the resovoir i have also noticed in just a short few days that there is stringy floating things in my water now im assuming that this is bacteria of some sort i mean 30C water is a nice place to live especially with no evil additives in !! How can i kill it and would water wetter finish it off!!
And how much would i add to my 20 gallon resovoir???

I can't remember the exact name of the tablets, but if you check at your local "fish" shop they can tell ya. They were really cheap, and got rid of all bacteria mold, everything. BTW are you using a Bong, if you are you've got to be very carefull what you put in the water.
I'm sure someone will remember the "tablets" I'm talking about, but if not a quick phone call to the "fish" man will.
Hope this helps ya out!

Put a little blench in your water. That should take care of it. Dont put too much!!! Change your water too while you are at it.
Dye-Lite
good stuff
takes one mL(1/30 of an oz) per gollon i think--its a very small amount at least
anyhow, it makes your water a really cool color-green, blue, or red(there might even be a clear version)-and it glows with ultra-violet light(the clear one glows with the UV light too)
it looks awesome in the tubing, it makes it really easy to find leaks, and it kills bacteria!
good luck

Yes... If you have a bong be very careful with bleach... Even a little is noticable...
I just changed my water and put in about an 1/8 teaspoon of Ultra to approx 7 gallons... It gives the room a "clean" smell. I think I finally got it right after a few tries...
Call any garden type shop they sell tons of stuff for keeping water clear in waterfalls / ponds. Bleach works but could be hard on some of the other parts in your system. Nursery Pro makes a product called Clear Water it's like 12 bucks for 16OZ just don't use it around fish!

i've posted a thread about the same thing (sort of).
i've got foggy lines, and this is an air tight system (as much as it can be, what i mean is an inline pump and sealed resivoir) anway it seems to me my lines are getting foggy, is this the same thing? and should i treat it the same way? :D

My System is out of Case well in the Loft really I was using the main House Low pressure water system but now my tank is 25 Gallon Seperate System not Airtight as it seeps in around the tank lid and at present have no rad but temps over 2 weeks are slowly rising started off at 20C now the Cpu reads 32C:). so we are slowly gaining but its stopping now! the water is noticebly warmer to touch!
Thanks for the advice peeps i will give it a go !
Ps please dont ask me to empty the resovoir i dont know how lol!
Easily anyway:)

Water Wetter also does the job, and helps cooling at the same time. Only problem is that it kinda smells if you're using a bong system(but practically all additives will)

the slime you are seeing is general Algae and it can be cleared up with a tablet you can get from any good refrigeration/ AC supply house. There are mutiple name brands but if you ask for a box of "Slime Tablets" for a 2 ton system they will know exactly what you are asking for. One tablet (about the size of 50 cent piece) is good for a couple of months and relatively inexpensive - it is a good practice to put one a month in your home AC condendsate pan also to prevent the drain from clogging this way your expense is serving a dual purpose and the expense is well justified.
