I have an OEM Radion 8500. How can I find out what the Vmem voltage is , and what ns the ram runs at. I know it runs at 230mhz. Is there any markings on the card, like markings on the ram chips for instance? thanks for help.

That would be 3.6ns memory on that baby... someone correct me if I'm wrong... but I'm pretty sure that's what that means... congrats :D Still not sure on the voltage though... ;:eh?:

look at the ram chips. Look for something that uses keywords such as "hynix" for eg: hynix36******* means you have 3.6ns ram. the stars are just other various numbers.

To check the Vmem voltage you have to use a Multimeter ;)

Thanks for the help guys. I have a Multimeter a friend gave me a while ago. I never used it and dont know how to. It has several different settings, I have no clue which one to use. If someone could point me in the right direction on how to test volt level on my card I would appreciate it.

Thanks again
