It's been 2 days since i recieved my alienware 2310.
Although the default monitor settings are a little awkward.

So i have a calibration here that u may find intresting

enjoy test comment and share your calibration settings

HDmi mode

color mode selection set to:graphics
custom rgb: 90 red 93 green 100 blue
brightness:20
contrast:90
sharpness:100

to the OP: I don't have a that particular monitor, but I know that someone over on [H]ard|Forum uses these settings...

R - 90
G - 93
B - 100
Brightness - 0
Contrast - 60

He uses the monitor in a dark room which may explain the 0 brightness setting. On my ViewSonic VA2226w I use the default settings but tweak the nVidia drivers to my liking.

Seems like to much sharpness to me, then again I run 0 on all my items. Too much sharpness can add fringes to edges.
