Epson printer drivers

I'm looking for a Windows2000 driver for an Epson Stylus Color 400. I've checked most of my "we have drivers for everything" pages (a la driverguide.com and windrivers.com) to no avail, and even did a yahoo search. Does anybody have drivers for it for 2000?

E-mail to Epson support, or try to install Win 2K driver for next printer avilable.

Oni - did you ever get any joy from Epson? - I have exactly the same problem with the Epson 300 Stylus colour - and Win2K. It wont load the old CDROM and the driver on the Epson site wont work either!

I have run into the same problem with a epson 740, great printer BUT no current driver for XP, last one I find seems 1999. No Joy here.

I actually managed to find the driver on driverguide.com - although it was designed for Windows NT it also worked on win2k - it would seem that quite a few people are unhappy that there is no Epson support for XP on older models

Its also a good way for them to loose any further sales of their printers. they need to help their older printers.

When I flushed the HDD and reinstalled everything including the drivers from the original cd it now works fine with XP
