I got the BOINC manager downloaded for fedora, but it wont let me attach to a project. any help please

I'm a complete n00b when it comes to Linux and I had a terrible time setting up the security for BOINC to run correctly. You may be running into the same issue. IIRC, you have to make sure you've got a BOINC security group (??? like I said, I'm a n00b) set up and configured or nothing works right ...
