Has anyone out there tested the combination of a celeron 900 and a KA-6100?. Which problems did you found?
I`m thinking in upgrading my system and this combination seems to be the higer(and cheaper) supported by my Mobo.
My sistem now is a Celeron 333A, KA-6100(chipset Via Apollo Pro), 64 Mb, Agp Intel Daytona 740, CD-RWriter sony.
This Mobo can reach 66/75/100/112/133 Mhz, but the cpu multipler(by jumpers) only reach to 8X and i would like to overclock the new cpu to the higer as posible.
If anyone has a better sugestion, please send it.

Does your board allow bios updates? Because you need like a 9x multiplier to run off the Celeron 900, because it has a 9x multiplier. The lastest bios should update that.

Other than that, with the bios update it should work. Overclocking will be hard because theres a big gap between 112, and 133, and most people land around the 124fsb area.

Thanks for your answer yodums.
Disgracefully i havent found updates for the bios althoug i have searched for it in the manufacturers web(and many other web pages). So it cant go upper than 8X.
Then what CPU do you recomend to me??
