Update: After a few more "Russian Roulette" chat sessions, I finally got someone who actually wanted to help instead of quote me what I already knew. Any-who, they transferred it over to an escalation queue, where it was researched and resolved. :D

I returned a case and a battery to Amazon for a phone I no longer own (EVO). Received an email that they had received the return, and were processing my refund....for the wrong amount.

Apparently whatever minimum wage worker that opened my return didn't notate that there were two items in there. One vs two, very complicated math here. (Yes, I'm a bit pissed right now.)

Any-who, thought I'd share my waste of time trying the online chat. Funny part is at the bottom. Apparently, if they don't want to deal with you, they just ignore you and wait for the timeout. Isn't that lovely??

The eloquent Bail :) . Because it is a return item failure, time for solution is not on your side, as the wheels of the system churn any existance of your return into oblivion.

@WonderingSoul: It seems like the luck of the draw changes what "policies" are applied. Go figure. :(

@ratbuddy: I don't -- the issue was them crediting only one of the two items that I returned.

Ya I was just copying & pasting from my order status screen. Call me lazy :p
Having said that, they do refund shipping. Just a heads up if you have to do a return. :D
