voltage mod on p3 733eb socket 370

i tried to tweak the voltage of my cpu by connecting pin but with no result each time i start my comp it still post 733 , my normal core voltage is 1.7v and i tried 1.85v,1.90v,1.95v but with no result does anybody know what could be the problem

plenty of ventilation my friend say that my computer is on the edge of starting to fly
icould only go up to 794mhz by changing fsb to 144mhz at 150mhz the comp would freeze or reboot
since it is winter here i have been able to almost freeze my computer "8 degree celcius case temprature"

Hi ataxy,
Well, if you have wired the right pins and got the Vcore desidered (generally 1.85v are enough), can be a mem modules probs, are you sure that they can handle higher freqs?
