Free trial AVG error notification - unable to remove!

Hey,

I get this error code: 0xC0070643
Additional message: The removal of the product failed

I tried everything, reinstall, repair or going in safe mode to uninstall but I keep getting this annoying error. Also, it keeps poping that it needs to reboot to update. It even pop-up an error message like: help us finding error by sending your blah blah... doesn't even work!

I'm about to format my drive another time, it is just an annoying process as I have to back-up some important / long to download files. It turns out that I always forget one to back-up and there it is, gone forever. :rain:

Reboot to safemode

Go to run, type MSCONFIG and hit enter

Make sure it is not listed in your services or startup, if it is, get rid of it

Go to its install location and make sure it is completely removed (if not manually delete the files)

Go to run, type regedit and hit enter

Then search for program's registry entries and delete them manually, probably under HKEY Localmachine but could be else where.

If you dont feel comfortable in the registry, you could try to use a registry cleaner but be sure to make a restore point before proceeding.

... and instead of using AVG as your AV, use either Antivir or Avast!.
AVG Remover eliminates all the parts of your AVG installation from your computer, including registry items, installation files, user files, etc. AVG Remover is the last option to be used in case the AVG uninstall / repair installation process has failed repeatedly.

Is MSE correct?
I used it once but it is so silent that I don't even know if it is really doing something... Not like norton always popin up and say HEH LOOK AT THAT: I JUST REMOVED THE SAME ****ING VIRUS 4 TIMES!
I tried Avast and the memory I have from it isn't great too...

I don't want something like norty but I do want something effective!
