Both boards wont take any agp card. I tried
a tnt2, a geforce2mx, a savage2000 and finally the
oldest agp card I had, a riva128zx. I get different
errors after installing drivers so I can only run in
16 colors. I used some pci cards and no problems. even
used a pci tnt with the same detonator drivers I used
for the tnt2 and it worked just fine. the agp slot
either is defective or this motherboard doesnt support
agp cards and the agp slot is just for testing if the
card boots in 16 colors. Have you gotten an agp card
to work in the abit LM6 board? If so, what can be done
in my case? I even loaded bios defaults and no go
I also heard LX boards are too old to take agp cards, yet they have an agp slot. Its kinda like having pci slots in a 486 and not being able to use em properly. I have heard of that too.

update: I made some changes in the bios and now it takes agp cards, even the geforce2mx. however it locks in quake3 when I set the fsb at 83 and its not my cpu or anything else. must be the clock generator doesnt like it
