I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set that I wanna use with my PS3. It has a USB and a PS2 connector on the reciever where you charge the mouse so I plugged the USB into the PS3 .
the keyboard works fine but my mouse doesn't. It is turned on but I have had to plug in a wired mouse to use with Linux and the PS3 browser.
Any reason why this doesn't work? I'm thinking maybe because the PS2 (or whatever that mouse connector is called) needs to be plugged in. I need a new set anyway so I might buy a new kb/mouse and see if a newer set will work better. bang head
they sell a logitech wireless bluetooth keyboard with built in touch mouse (like on a laptop) just for the ps3 at bestbuy for $80 and is very sweet to use.can be had for $60 on amazon

If that's the case, a PS/2 -> USB dongle may work. They're usually very cheap ($10 in New Zealand, I'd imagine you can probably pick them up for even cheaper in USA). Might be worth a shot rather than spending 60+ USD on an "approved" set. :) I just wish FPS/3PS games came with native kb/mouse support for PS3..
Just completely unnatural to use a controller for aiming =\ No idea how people manage.. It's the reason I probably won't be picking up Crysis 2 for PS3 :(
