 Congrats!!!

Mine comes up in July. I started 37 years and a day after Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon.

PS
Doesn't count original work done for TPS when SETI first started. ;)

Oct 31, 2001 for my original user name, with 0 points because it was on the old Seti. New username started Oct 18, 2007. Maybe an anniversary thread would be kind of cool to start for active users.

Think there's a way to look up old accounts pre-BOINC? Can't remember when I first joined, same boat as Voodoo, guess it doesn't count since its the old SETI, but still curious to remember.

You can link your old account with your new account... I linked mine to my original account as I am now solo and not crunching as a Team as the old seti Four Horsemen team was:

As you can see I have been Crunching for a long time since Feb. 10, 2000.

FYI back then I was crunching with a 400 MHz Celeron with a Slot 1 adaptor... my first build and guess where I can for overclocking advice!

Ah, you know what? You comments triggered a vague memory. I think i did try to link them, but i lost the password on the old account and the email i used doesn't exist anymore (excite.com address i think). So i gave up trying to dig it up. Oh well.

I started crunching just a little bit before they completely switched to the BOINC platform. I just have a handful of SETI classic units under my belt, but I've been going all out on the BOINC platform since the beginning of '05 or so.

I can't remember any detail from my old account except I was still using Macintosh exclusively. I think it was 1998 or 1999 when I first heard about seti@home.
