Hello everyone.

I've been looking at building a i3 for ~$400 (without GPU), and as far as I see
right now on the site I'm using, ther are only 2 kits that consist of a mobo with
overclocking options (etc...) in my price range. So, I'm pretty certain as to
what's better otherwise, but I'm not quite sure which motherboard would
actually be better for my overclocking intentions.

Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2V

Intel DH55PJ

Basically, I'd like to get the kit with the Intel board for the other things it
consists of, but I'm worried the Gigabyte might be a better choice. Can anyone
tell me if an Intel DH55PJ is a solid mobo for overclocking? Any advice would
be greatly appreciated! :)

Intel boards generally don't have overclocking options in the bios...are you certain this one does? Gigabyte would always be a good choice

I checked the manual. Even had memory clock and ratio settings IIRC. I thought the same thing until I checked. The only thing bad thing I've ever heard about Intel boards is that OC options are usually never present. Other than that, what would the Gigabyte have over the Intel?
