Download 3dmark 2001 and run the benchmark 3 times. If you get any artifacts (wierd lines or random dots) than you OC is not stable. Try that before OCing more!
If (when) you do hit the "wall" and can't go any higher with the stock cooling, I would suggest taking off the stock heat sink and reinstalling it with a proper coat of some ASII(I) or Alumina, maybe even lapping it.
It's amazing how BADLY some heatsinks are installed from the factory.
And like Rezman5 said, keep upping it until it locks up, or you start to see artifacts (you'll know them when you see 'em!), and then back off until they're gone. I've heard of people getting a Ti200 up to 250/550 with stock cooling.
Good Luck!
I've got a Gainward GF3 ti200 and its at 240/540 with stock cooling right now, and its perfectly stable. Any higher and I get artifacts....I might try removing the heatsink and adding some AS2, see if that helps!
if i put ASII on it, how do i get the stock cooler off and how do i put it back on....
do i have to use ASII adhesive or can i use normal ASII
