Plexwriter 16/10/40A Problems

I HATE THIS DRIVE. I seriously have had nothing but problems with it. It decided to stop working and it wont read cds now.

Has anyone else had problems with this drive. I'm using windows 2k. I had problems with this drive before when windows wouldnt recognize it on a previous install.

I dont know if its the drive or what. I'm thinking of rmaing it but I dont know if it broken or if it just hates me.

Is DMA mode enabled on it?

Try the lastest fireware update.

I have no problems with mine on Windows XP, nor did i have any problems in Windows 2000
check if you connected it with the same ide cable as the hard disk as that would cause problems while burning
