Bruno the upload server is down:cry:
As well as the main boincadm administrative server.
They are switching over to synergy. Should take the rest of the evening.:rain:
Aww, I was wondering what the holdup was on all of these backed up units. I'm sure we've got enough work for several days, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Haha I wish! Not since SETI came online last year have I had more than a few *hours* of work units in cache on hand. Except for maybe AP work units, but never more than a day's worth of those. When things are smooth over there, the on-demand method seems to keep up generally, but I've never been able to build a cache.
These outages invariably dry up the wells so to speak, for me. I'm on my last CPU set now, GPUs are bored!
Oh well, I guess I could try sacrificing a computer to the SETI gods to see if that helps.
Anyway, those guys over there are pretty talented, they usually get things going pretty smoothly.

Hopefully this is a shorter outage then poor rosetta suffered earlier this week!

Do you have It set to Keep more work on hand?
I know I have like 3 days worth of work usually.

Hmm, sounds like you guys are telling me this is not as common as I thought. I thought maybe everyone was in a similar boat.
Here are the computing settings i have set. I think those settings are the most generous that the system will allow right?

Computer is connected to the internet.... = 10 days.

Meaning i should set that value to 10 explicitly? Is that tells the system to build the cache?

That is my setting, and on long outages I still run out of work.

Yep, dry as a bone, since yesterday evening. I downloaded some einstein work to keep me busy for now. Just not the same though :)
