Hey all,

Whenever I plug a microphone in to the on board sound card I get this weird static noise that seems to move with the movement of the mouse or keyboard. It's even there when I mute my mic. It's really annoying because I'm trying to record some voiceovers for a film and it just sounds horrible right now. Is this a problem with this specific motherboard? Any way to remedy this issue? I've tried uninstalling and installing the drivers over and over.

My Audigy 4 just died so I'm trying to see if the on board sound card can work somewhat for me. If not, I'll just have to go out and get an X-Fi I suppose. Thanks for the help.

well as far as i know you'll get weird sounds like (Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......)in a M/B for this resans
01. your plug in device is crap.... Cheep condenser Mic.....
02. Your M/B's Mic input is crap....
03. and lastly your M/B Sound card jumpers are not properly in order...
