I recently removed the heat sink of my Geforce 2 MX400 under instruction, as it was far to hot, and replaced it with a blue orb chipset cooler (circular heatsink and fan), attached with a thermal sticker.
However, the sticker was used before, and i opened up my PC yesterday to find the Blue Orb had fallen off, and was resting on my brand new SB Audigy!! (tower case).
After all that, my question is, was it worth it removing Elsa's heat sink and replacing it with the Blue Orb with only a thermal sticker?
I have grease and clips for the fan but there are no holes in the Geforce to attach it. What should i do now?
Thanks.

Buy Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive. or Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive and mix them about 30/70 (Compound/Adhesive) with Arctic Alumina Compound and Arctic Silver 3 Compound. That will attach it. Oh, and you don't need to describe the blue orb. We have ALL seen it.

A buddy of mine took a small drill bit and made a blue orb fit with push pins.
Just drilled the holes and thats it.

You have to be very carefull if you want to do this, dont crack anything and definatly dont let the drill slip and have its way with the card.

You are probably better off with AntmanMike's way though if you are not 100% up to the task.

get some liquid super glue and put a blob in two corners, use artic silver or normal apste in the middle. it should hold it fins and not cost much
