Daft newbie question

Im trying to access the bios screen.....Ive tried the f keys on startup but it doesnt happen.Please explain what I should be doing( I need to change the agp aperture).

Some mobos make you hit "delete" to enter the bios. Others make you hit escape first, then it gives you the options. But try hitting delete.

The moment that the RAM count-up is finished, press "Delete."

Most say at the bottom of the boot screen what button to press in order to access the Setup. I've even seen a Compaq say it once.:eek:

well on mine, my brothers and my mothers we get an quick and small screen that says "to change system settings press F1 now". obviously i press F1 and cannot help you there but maybe just look a little harder or press any button they suggest (that may not be the best idea though, see if its kind of close to what you want)

and klosters64a what does that say in your avatar picture. i just cant make out that second blocked word. its bugging me. i just copied it and then blew it up. it looks like "theres nothing like a real trinitron tv" am i right?

he posted that it works while i was posting, sheesh, looks like i need to type faster
