Is it is even capable of supporting that? I looked at the Lunatics site and could find no minimum requirements. (Registration there is presently disabled or I'd ask there.) I have one of these that is presently unused and could plug it in if it would be of any help.

I think I'd have to replace a couple caps first as a couple of them look like they're bulging. :sly:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_gpus.html is the list of CUDA enabled nVidia video cards. Unfortunately the 5200 is not on the list.

FX 5200 is pretty old. I wouldn't count on anything older than 8800 and 9xxx to support CUDA

I wouldn't count on anything older than 8800 and 9xxx to support CUDA It won't. I've got one of the last builds they did before the 8xxx came out, a 7900GTX, and it won't run on them. Sad, too, because they have more ooph than a lot of 8xxx's. :(

Probably. But you should know that I spent less than that on mobo/CPU/RAM/cooler to upgrade an s939 based system.

thanks, folks, for the info.
