I cant seem to get any work.......
But I have been starting all these new proteins that I've never seen before, like:

proteinAg29a
and a couple more that I can't remember....,

yeh i had some problems geting work, too. but everything is alrght now. i have seen new proteins ABeta and Alzheimers in the past few days.

I can't get a new unit still.....Shut it down a couple times and even rebooted and said the Yatta prayer......but still a no-go
No problems here yet. One rig just recieved a water and I have three that will be finished with their WU's within the hour I will report back how they do. Fold on!!!!

What's a water? Guess I haven't seen one of those yet.
All downloaded fine with several different proteins. Maybe it is fixed? Is antbody still having trouble? I know they released some new proteins recently and that usually means the servers act weird for a day or two:( I still do not know what happened to the 2.18 Beta, They said they were going to release it and then it never came:( Well hopefully soon. Fold on brothers!!!!

they must be give me all the gnra's. thats all I have gotten all week. If those other protien are give problems I'm not going to complain.
i have seen 8 faulty work units in a row. this after waiting several hours for the server to even give my machines a WU!
edit - wtf is up with these faulty WUs?! my machines are getting a WU and then returing it as faulty!

KFB, that's what was happening to me. Works fine now. In fact, dun got second round of new wu's.
ALL NativeBBA5. all 5 machines are doing NativeBBA5 right now.
Again, if someone doesn't mind, what's a water?

why is they just send you certian wu's? can't figure that one out seems like they would send something else if there was a problem.

the water's are causing some crashes from what I hear in 2.15
Whenever I start to have problems with WUs I usually delete core 65 and restart. This downloads a new core 65 and has fixed most problems I have encountered. It might help and does not hurt to try.

they are 10 frames and under 8 min. a frame on the rig in my sig. I am not exactly sure about the time I have been messing with my computer today.

I think that's just the protein which caused my graphical 2.15 client to crash on my both comps.

try using 2.17 and see if that fixs it

nope :( Water - TIP3P Model crashed 2.17 graph.client too. When uninstalling 2.17 Windows crashed (rare under win2k).
Well now I got 2.19beta console and I hope it works fine.
I keep getting a WinFah.exe _ this causes about 32 module faults and I tried uninstalling then reinstalling. It works ok till it has to send to the server. then it crashes like this.
OS - win xp pro.
ram 512 mb.
cpu athlon 1600+ ( not overclocked yet )
anyone know what else I need to do.

I was going to suggest stability but Joanne is not overclocked. Looks like more mysteries for the Overclockers Folding crew.:eek:

That could be it. But the only thing that changed was the protein. But it might be the one that pushed your oc to the instability point. Who knows? I think I'll just delete these and try to get others.

Yeah, I figured that might be the case. My first clue was the :rolleyes: you put in. But, sometimes I have to be hit over the head with it. What do you think about the name avatar? I thought it might help if people saw my real name. I would never have chosen "Ned" if I had known that I would be getting into the forums. It sounds so nerdy. But I was in a hurry to get to folding and it was the first thing that came to mind. I've got way too many points now to start over though.
