Case modding...once you start you are hooked. So I got this new full tower case...started reading in this section. Then I got this idea I would try it. So out came the Dremel...a dream tool...and started cutting. Bought a couple of window kits...some glow wire...a cold cathode tube...a clear fan...a really cool fan cover thingy...some colored round cables...and all the switches and stuff...and wow! I have to say that it was scary cutting into the case at first then everything flowed. Using all the ideas and help from here it went very well. Only one problem...you know the washer thing that they send to measure for the window opening...well...I made a stupid assumption. That both kits were the same. Only after not being able to get the second window in the cut out I just happened to look at the other washer sent with the other kit and it was a different size. Seems the "H" channel was thicker in one kit than the other. Got it all together and hit the lights and I just looked at it. It looks so good. It was a lot of work but what all of you have said about how you feel once you have done it yourself is true. So I wanted to say thanks in general to all that took the time to post ideas here and tell everyone that is thinking of modding your case...go for it. Just realize that there are a lot of people on here that know what they are doing and listen to them. You will be glad that you did!
