I have to upgrade my office Pentium 4 - 2.26Ghz cpu - 768mb Ram.I will shift my home system to my office, a Pentium E5200 dual core, 4gb memory, 4670 graphics card, and use the new system at home (*probably* with the 4670 card as I have had it less than a year.)
I will use this PC for
- gaming (at 1920 x 1080)
- browsing (lots of tabs)
- image editing photoshop and inkscape
- watching 1080p movies
The last system I built was based on a Pehnom II x2 555 BE, GTX 460 (for my brother) which unlocked to 4 cores no problem. Having thought about it, I'm most interested in getting the best bang for my buck. I'm in Bangladesh and will buy the system when I go to Malaysia in about a month. The best place I've found is Low Yat Plaza. This is typical for CPU prices

I will obviously need to buy most things; motherboard, memory, power supply. So I need to consider knock on effects where buying a certain CPU requires a more expensive MoBo.
Here are some of the CPU prices in Malaysian Ringit (MYR), British Pounds (GBP) and US dollars (USD).
