6970 + 3 monitor setup

Okay so Im having some difficulties hooking up my Sharp 30" LCD and two of my Hyundai 19" LCD screens to my Sapphire 6970. This is what I have tried:

1. Sharp 30" <----HDMI cable ---> 6970
2. First Hyundai 19" <---VGA cable with DVI adaptor --> 6970
3. Second Hyundai 19" <--- DVI to HDMI cable--> <--HDMI to mini-display port adaptor---> 6970

When I go into CCC, it detects that there are three monitors, but it can only enable two of them at once.

Hope this makes sense. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You need an active adapter

how many of those do i need?

ok i finally got my "Powercolor Active Mini DisplayPort to Single-Link DVI-D Adaptor". I noticed that it has a female DVI-D and my monitor output also has a female DVI-D.



Do I use a single or dual link DVI-D cable now? It doesnt specific what kind of cable I should use. Thanks
