Nothing on your end. Probably something stalled or out of sorts on the Rosetta servers.

I'm getting the same error.

And here I was thinking....

"Boy this Rosetta really rocks. No crazy glitches like FAH."

...sigh

The good thing about rosetta is that you can have your rig download a few days worth of work, for when these things do happen. Usually it is on holiday weekends when no one is there to fix it. I keep five days of work on my machines.

It is kind of late for you now, though. hopefully they come back up before next week...

You can always crunch something else, like SETI.

Thu 26 May 2011 11:33:12 PM CDT SETI@home Message from server: Project has no tasks available

or not.

Well, that certainly stinks! Can't get any more work on Rosetta or SETI.

I don't really want to jump back info folding FAH, because once I start that, I won't want to quit. So... fortunately, I signed up for World Community Grid, and our team there, reminds me A LOT of our Rosetta team in 2008.

We've got the founder, who we never hear from on the forum, and very few members. We have no dedicated forum for WCG, (of course), and our team is hovering somewhere around #400. And they have good projects to crunch with BOINC. (Muscular Dystrophy, serious Fevers which currently have no cure, (and two are headed our way), Leukemia, and many of the other usual suspects).

Nice that you get to choose which disease research you want to crunch for.

I've got one rig still with two days of Rosetta wu's, but the other two will be going over to WCG quite soon, as their SETI work units are almost finished.

There outta be a law against both your BOINC projects going down at the same time!

Wonder what the issue is? All servers show Running Normally, and no announcements on the Rosetta Home Page. Just this (http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=5726#70394).
I'm getting the "No work sent" message since 07:15 this morning, but I have a few days of work built up before I run out.

Ah, so this is not unheard of......:censored:

I'm sure it happens to every d/c project, but I don't recall it happening with Rosetta before. SETI is bad for this. FAH and Rosetta are quite good at having work available.

Plenty of work available over at World Community Grid. Just got a boat load of wu's there.
Activity >> attach to project >> World Community Grid, and follow the prompts.

Yikes!!:( Back to fah till they get this fixed...all outa work for the time being. I'll get an i7 back on Rosie after I do one bigadv.(About 2.5 days)

It happens.
On the plus side when the servers eat it they don't penalize you for not turning work in (FAH server down? No bigadv bonus for you if you can't upload it in time!), on the minus side it happens more often to Rosetta than it does FAH.

WCG is a great backup though, they do good things.

I just hope I have enough of a cache to make it through till they get this fixed ...

Yeah, I hope they get things going pretty soon. My hex core still has a healthy supply of work, but the SB rig is running low. And I've had to shut down the 875k and my test system from crunching because of the last electric bill we go, which was over $500.

I've been getting the "Message from Server: No Work Sent" for a couple days myself.. hopefully the cache holds out.

Somehow, I had 5 days worth of work and it said all files were corrupted and then all my tasks disappeared and now I've been deferred for 10 hours under the project status. I dunno whats going on.

Under the message tab it says "reached daily quota of 8 results"

Sounds like a hardware issue to me. Unstable overclock? Or just not Folding/crunching stable.

Prime 95 stable and been crunching for a few weeks no problems. I'll see whats going on probably soon enough. It happened after I snoozed it. I'm currently at stock clocks. Still says I reached the quota of 8.

*EDIT* It now says no work like it did when rosetta was down earlier. I just detached the project and reattached it.

Can you copy over the error message from your BOINC manager?

Good to go. Turned BOINC on this morning and everything seems to be working now. I just feel wierd when I see my computer at 3% but all good now
