Is this case any good? Its going on shell shocker here later today, and I kind of need a new case.

Lian li make the highest quality cases out of all the manufactures, have a untouchable track record if you exclude some of their weird prototypes that made it through, but even they didnt lose quality or design features, havent used that exact case personally but if its on shell shocker, you like the way it looks etc, it'll be fine, no hidden surprises with Lianli.
That's kind of what I figured. I was looking for the typical CM II 690a but if this is going to be cheaper.... I'm just trying to decide if I should jump on this shell shock or just spring for the cm690

i would go for the cm690 if you got the cash, it will probably suit your needs better, but if you want to save money in this area get the shell shocker.
Do you know of what differences there really are between the two in practical application?

the cm690 will provide better cooling all round, better wire management, lots of mesh and little features that makes it a better case for the pc enthusiast, Lian lis tend to be for more laid back rigs or very expensive premium builds.
Hmm, I suppose I'll have to see then, If the Lian-Li comes out to 50 shipped or less I may have to just spring for it, it'll be a huge upgrade over this generic old atx case anyway!

either way it'll be a good purchase, I hope i have helped.
Haha, yes you have indeed, its just hard when I'm broke, but using an ancient case, to drop the money on the CM...

i know how the broke feeling is, two types of being broke on this forum, not much money for your hobby, or wives/partners dont allow you to buy things, unfortunalty im the first.
I'm in both boats! Double whammy!
