system specs below.

I have done a diagnostic on my pc using Norton Diagnostics, and it reported an error in my memory. Attached below are pictures of Norton's screen. Also below, is an image of my Sisoft Sandra Benchmark (shown no errors). This is a bit weird, in Sandra i dont get errors, in Norton i get errors, whys that? Is Norton reliable at this kinds of Diagnostics? If not, what other diagnostic software do u recommend to test memory.

Do you get any problems running apps? Sandra is generally a good indicator of memory problems, so I would think Norton is reporting a false error..........

ey red,
nope. nothing at all. i once got a BSOD while burning in though. but when i do usual stuff, games, surfing, etc. no errors.

google search for a proggie called memtest86. it'll make a bootable floppy and run a battery of tests on ur ram. if it reports errors, there is a prob, youll have to back off the speed or timings, or u got a bad stick.
