Regarding the problem I was having/am having with my Koolance case, explained here (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67292), I have to send my reservoir back to Koolance in order for them to send me a new one. Apparently it's impossible to just buy one from Koolance or anyone else. So, I need to know what I can use in place of the reservoir for the 2 weeks that it will most likely take to get my replacement.

Tell them to avance ship you one. You cant be without your res for two weeks. They'll prolly want to put a "hold" on a Credit card for the value of the res.

They used to do that. Said they used to charge your card, ship you a new one, and then credit your card once they receive the defective reservoir. However, now they say they are basically just a warehouse, and dont' have the capabilities to process credit card payments. So basically I have 3 options:
- Live with a damaged reservoir
- Buy a new case
- Figure something out to use while I send my damaged one in.
Do you have a HSF you can use?

No, but do you think I should just go pick one up locally to use? I wonder if that would be the easiest solution.

are the pumps doing with the res, if they arn't then use the pumps in a large container next to the computer. if they are going then get a heatsink, something cheep like a cooler master

Does it not have a warranty?

The pumps are sealed in the reservoir, and yes, it is under warranty, and they'll replace it for free. But I can't be without a computer for 2 weeks.

Well, i'd raise hell. I mean it. That is ridiculous.
If people new every time your koolance broke you couldn't use you computer for two weeks, they wouldn't by one.
Are they gonna compensate you for the spare pump you gotta buy?
Call back and talk to a Manager. Maybe with his help you can get one of the web vendors to adv. ship you a replacment.
You should go post in the vendor fourm.
When you call back ask them to recomend a pump.
I wouldn't take that. I am mad enough to call for you.

If I were to purchase an HSF to use while the reservoir is gone, would I need to worry about putting my Ti-500's fan back on the card (I'm using the Koolance GPU cooler), while the Koolance system is down? Or would it be okay without its cooler as long as I don't play any games or anything?

The res adds nothing to the cooling. so if you just got a pump you would be fine. the hoses dont clamp on that thing so you would need a real small pump, or you would blow them loose. i'd call them up and ask them what they recomend.
