HSF Question

I wasn't sure about this topic so I thought I'd ask.

I'm thinking of getting an Athlon XP 1700 retail to save money ect.

And I won't be overclocking it, how is the bundled HSF if you know of it?

I just kind of need to save money versus the oem 1800 + alpha pal 8060u (i think) hsf.

I just don't want my system to break down or overheat.

I'm not posative yet, so I still might go with the oem athlon and alpha hsf, just would like some info about the retail stuff.

Hmm... alot of ppl @ new egg say the HSF is really cheap... I think I might go with the pal then =/

I wouldn't go with the HSFs newegg adds on, they are usually the bare minimum for the CPU.
