Well I finally got a day off and had some new toys to play with and I will let the pics show the kind of fun I had. I used the new MSI K7D-Master Dual board with the MPX chipset.

PS, be sure to see that these new XP-MP's are un-locked from the factory!!!

just wonderin, how does it affect speeds in games, apps and so on, is it really sych a big difference?
any downsides?

I want to get one of those things next time i upgrade, if i am millionaire by then that is.

It is not a viable option for the "normal" user. Most apps will not benefit from it. It is mainly bragging rights. If I had to buy this stuff at retail prices I would buy something else. It is cool to play with though.

That's awesome! I had to do a triple take on the L1's. (thought my eyes were playing tricks on me) Then I read it was an MP! Great System! :)

Wow, trancebear. I've got the Tiger MP and have been looking to upgrade to XP's sometime soon. Does the MSI board allow you to change multipliers in the bios? I can only oc via fsb, so I may hit 144mhz fsb total.
