Trackpad not responding

Hi

I have been using UBUNUTU 10.10 for a while now till day i had no problem with my trackpad of my HP dv6000 laptop, but all of a sudden my trackpad is not working after it log's inside ubuntu 10.10, before loging into ubuntu its working fine and even on windows its working fine but after the loging into ubuntu it aint working, i also did check in preference>mouse>touchpad it is not disabled. Kindly help

You might want to go through drivers and make sure the proper linux drivers are installed. I had some problems on my laptop with ubuntu upgrading and altering my drivers and causing my trackpad to stop working correctly.

I'm afraid I don't have ubuntu installed atm but id check out other forum posts or help forums using google.
