For 400 bucks you think they'd make this case look decent...

Check out this new case from Enermax.

Man, its pretty feature rich...aluminum, all the ports up front, room for tons of fans, a window already installed with vents, temp lcd on front, fan speed rheostats, quite nice, quite nice.

But whats up with the slanted front end?

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble liking that idea.

Oh, and its $400 without the power supply.

What do you guys think about it?

Why spend 400 bucks when you can buy a better looking Lian-Li and mod it for less? Plus you get the satisfaction of bragging to all you friends that you put that giant window on the side of your case. :D

Its cool, its different, its pricey (cost more than my pickup truck), it makes a good foot stand under the desk while playing cs.

its not bad. I still like what Coolermaster makes better(even over Lian Li on looks, of course there is price....). I can see how you could find it ugly.

2 things---it's ugly and it's not a full tower!!

i like it as well. but it is overpriced. the funky sloped front might help prevent a hot pocket in the top front above the 5 1/4 drives too. hmmm... you 'd have good clean airflow from the lower front intake........ now if it came with a 431w psu that might be a different story.

Seems to be all the rage lately. IBM has several A Series models that have front angled cases. Looks like a nice case but not worth $400 IMHO.

Good point...if you're putting 400 bucks into just the case, you might as well go all out and have more fun anyway.

I don't understand why its so expensive though...ok I know why (cause its so different) but we all know the extra fans and the little mods (which they mass produce anyway) don't cost so much extra to raise the price to 400 bucks. 200 is more like it...

The slanted front is definitely an acquired taste...

There goes my lunch. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if they didn't have those ugly metal things in the window, covering up the motherboard. What's the point of having a window if if looks at something ugly like that.
I wouldn't take that into my home unless it came with at least US$50. I can't imagine anybody spending US$400 on that thing.
