just built an older rig for cs:s.

E6600 oc 3.2
8800gts 640mb
2 gb ddr2
500 watt antec psu

when playing source I get these random beeps... either pressing tab, w,a,s,d.

tried changing keyboards aswell

beeps from the motherboard when pressing keyboard keys happens when the Kb buffer fills up.
once it cannot accept any more input it will beep until these keys are accepted.

i dont know how else to say that.

that sounds like what is occuring, now WHY the keycommands are getting all gobbed up?
happens when things are locked up, to slow, user wont let up on the key that isnt going anywhere?
or if the program that the keys are headed to isnt accepting the input.

i am not sure if it can also happen when pressing more key items simeltanously than the keyboard itself is capable of.
some keyboards only allow so many keys to be held down at the same time, then the last key held down does not register at all.
people deep into gaming get all of this stuff worked out, myself i just lighten up on the keyboard, then someone kills me again :)
